What's not to like? From the moment that I arrived, everyone was kind and helpful. Actually, that started even before my arrival as they responded to a special request of mine to stay on the 2nd floor. The staff members here are seriously the best; be it the day staff, the evening staff, management, or the housekeeper... they are all a pleasure to be around. Even though I'm a solo traveler, I feel very comfortable going down to the cafe area to do homework and chat. The drinks that they make are also really tasty (I highly recommend the Lychee Italian Soda... yum!) I feel like I've been spoiled by the staff here, too, as they always give me something tasty to try. As for the room: HEAVEN!!! I had what has to be the most comfortable bed in my past 3 months of traveling. I feel like I am on a cloud. The room size is small but not so small that I can't move around. My luggage rolls easily under the table against the wall. If you stay here long, housekeeping is done every 3 days, but if you need anything the staff is quick to help. If you are sensitive to sounds, I suggest bringing earplugs (depending on the location of your room) since there are food vendors next to the poshtel. I don't feel like it's a bother since I enjoy the sounds of Thailand. My room did not have its own bathroom, but there were 3 toilets and 2 shower stalls on my floor that were always clean. There isn't a laundry facility here for guests but there are several options within minutes. The proximity to various temples and tourist sites is great. Also, if you need something last minute or get sick, there is a 7-Eleven and a pharmacy within 5 minutes of here. I enjoyed my stay here so much that I ended up staying an extra 6 days instead of going to a hostel I had previously booked. For a person who likes privacy when it's time to sleep, this has been prime. I will recommend this place to anyone I know and will definitely return again. :)

Excellent location to walk to the flower market, Emerald and Reclining Buddha and also Wat Po for their famous massages. There's a noodle guy in along the canal literally right outside the door 6 days per week. Close to the modern AC buses if you want to get around. It's also opposite the Ministry of Interior complex which is stunning. A 30m walk to China Town so plenty of time to walk off your dinner. The brand new security guarded Seal Laundry is a few blocks away and worth the walk. The staff were lovely, helpful and very friendly. Love the fact there is a locker at the bottom of the stairs to put your day shoes in and swap out to slippers for the hotel internal areas. Get yourself a couple of small jasmine garlands from the flower market and leave in your room to be greeted with on your return. It's delightful. I will stay here again.

The hostel was in a great location for Grand Palace, Wat Po (Reclining Buddha), Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawihan and the Khaosan Road. The whole hostel was exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. Our family room, on the top floor (we could see the roof of the grand palace), consisted of two bedrooms (each with a small, but exceptionally comfortable double bed), a small seating area (with TV and fridge) and a small but private bathroom. This is a great hostel and great value for money.

The room was great! I had my own space that I didn't mind the shared bathroom and everything. My own bed was all that mattered. The staff are amazing! Super friendly and always accommodating to our needs. Bonus! They share a lot of their own treats and food with the guests to try when they don't have to. I think that is just so sweet of them.

Excellent place in all regards. The staff was nice, the place secure with locked doors and the location excellent. I did not try any other hotel in Bangkok but it will be hard to beat this one. Also, you don't only have access to the museum and the historical center, there are also plenty of cosy cafés around.
